Claudia works as a fiddle tutor for Scots Music Group (leading weekly group classes for adults in Edinburgh) and Féis Rois (delivering traditional music projects to schools in the Dumfries & Galloway Council areas). She also teaches one-to-one piano lessons at The Glasgow Children's Music School (beginner to intermediate). She spends her summers on the Florida State University Summer Music Camps faculty, teaching fiddle ensembles, chamber music, and one-to-one lessons.

Prior to moving to Scotland, Claudia earned a Bachelors of Music Education (Instrumental) from the Florida State University College of Music, graduating summa cum laude. She completed an internship with the LaVilla School of the Arts orchestra programme, and worked in various middle and high school placements in Tallahassee, FL throughout her undergrad. Outside of university, Claudia worked with the St. Andrew Society of Tallahassee to provide scholarship fiddle lessons to local students, and visited care homes and school groups to perform interactive, educational programmes of Scottish trad music.

In her one-to-one teaching, Claudia uses a combination of the Suzuki Method and the Mimi Zweig String Pedagogy method. She employs a combination of ear-training and note-reading, and focuses on establishing a strong foundation in healthy technique and general musicianship. She teaches students ages 5+, specializing in beginning to advanced fiddle/violin.
