Claudia Edwards is a Florida-born fiddler living in Glasgow. She graduated with a Masters of Traditional Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in June 2022, where she studied with fiddlers Alistair McCulloch, Marie Fielding, and Greg Lawson. She earned her Bachelors of Music Education at Florida State University College of Music, where she studied classical violin with Corinne Stillwell. When in Florida during the summer, she performs in her duo with guitarist Stephen Michael Hodges, and teaches fiddle at the FSU Summer Music Camps. Now living full-time in Scotland, you can find her gigging in Glasgow and Edinburgh with her trio, Birdleif Erikson, hosting sessions in Glasgow, escaping to the highlands for hill walks, and teaching all across the lowlands.
